Pandemic Flu - A virulent human      flu that causes a global outbreak,     or pandemic, of serious illness.         Because there is little natural            immunity, the disease can spread    easily from person to person.            Currently there is no pandemic         flu.

In our searchable database, Acadiana Resources, you can access over 1,500 health and human resources available in Acadiana and elsewhere.  Acadiana Resources is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer.  Visit Microsoft's Download Center and download a free version today.  If you experience difficulty finding a resource, or need technical assistance, call 232-HELP at (337) 232-4357, dial 2-1-1 from a land line or send us an email.

With our database software, agencies can edit their agency and program information or add a new program on line.  Go to the Options tab in Acadiana Resources and follow the instructions.  Note:  to find a program to edit, you must first pull up the operating agency which will list all programs associated with it.  Select the program you wish to edit and make the necessary changes/additions.  When you submit the change form it will be emailed directly to our Resource Department who will then make the changes.  If you have any problems or questions, call the Resource Manager at 232-HELP/211 for assistance.

Disclaimer: The inclusion of an agency listing does not imply 232-HELP/211's recommendation or endorsement.  Determination of inclusion is based upon the Inclusion/Exclusion criteria established by 232-HELP/211's Board of Directors.  Despite 232-HELP/211's best efforts to maintain the accuracy and timeliness of the following data, some of the information may be outdated.  If the service or agency you are looking for is not listed, or the information is not accurate, please email us.
